The front and back pieces of the neck warmer are worked in half brioche stitch. The neck is then worked in ribbing. Stitches are cast at the bottom of the back piece and worked upwards towards the shoulders. Stitches are bound off for the neckline, and new stitches are cast on along the top of the front piece. This way, the same number of stitches is achieved on both the front and back pieces. Continue knitting in half brioche stitch until the front piece reaches the same length as the back. The neck is worked in ribbing.
